➢ Aim of Study
The aim of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) practice change project was to decrease
the number of emergency department (ED) patients who leave without being seen. The
following process objectives were completed:
(a) Educate nurses on the team triage model
(b) Modify the perception that ED diagnosis, treatment, and care must occur in a room,
and
(c) Improve revenue
